Kakao Enterprise is launching a “win-win boost-up project-Re:born” that supports the growth of re-challenge startups.
Kakao Enterprise announced on the 16th that it will actively support startups dreaming of re-starting with excellent ideas over four years from 2023 after signing a 14 billion won MOU with the Korea Startup Promotion Agency.
The Win-Win Boostup Project is Kakao Enterprise’s flagship startup support program. Following the “KDB x Kakao Enterprise Win-Win Boostup Program” conducted with KDB Development Bank last year, this year, it will support re-challenge startups in conjunction with the “Re:born Project” of the Korea Startup Agency. Kakao Enterprise plans to realize the value of co-prosperity with the Korea Startup Promotion Agency and establish a new partnership between participating companies to create a healthy digital ecosystem that grows together.
Any tech-based company that requires cloud technology among re-starting companies can apply for this project. Applications for participation will be held for about a month from the end of October, and a total of 10 companies will be selected for the first phase of the win-win boost-up project-Re:born after document evaluation and in-depth interviews by Kakao Enterprise experts.
Kakao Enterprise provides up to 100 million won in “Kakaoi Cloud” credit to the first-generation company and supports the paid version of “Kakao Work,” a comprehensive business platform, for 12 months for free to help them run cloud-based business stably. In addition, the first-term companies will be given up to 200 million won in funds for the re-challenge commercialization of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
